Project Details

Fly’n Gypsy Arts™ entire site lifespan has been overseen by Gridline Design, starting with an entirely static site that rapidly became unmanageable due to the restrictions such a format put on new content additions. In 2002, the site was refactored to utilize the PHP scripting language and a MySQL database, allowing a single layout to be dynamically applied to any artwork information entered.

With a layout update in 2003 and several minor enhancements to keep up with Web standards, the Fly’n Gypsy Arts™ site has evolved into the current incarnation. Additional modifications are anticipated, including another redesign and a refactoring to the Python scripting language, built upon the Django web framework.
